I am a regular visitor to the blogs of Wade Hodges and Mike Cope. This is a whole new world for me, but one I think I will enjoy, as long as somebody reads it, and maybe even responds once in a while. I read where Mike Cope had over 600 hits on his blog in one day!!! I would be happy with 6..... OK 4...... Maybe 2........ Alright, 1!!! 1 measely hit would make my day. This seems to be a good way to communicate and broaden my world a bit. I'll probably put some preaching stuff on here. I'm always in the mood for a joke or two. Maybe some interesting photos. We'll see what happens.

I preached on Hannah last Sunday. My focus was this.... God does his best work through what seems to us to be damaged merchandise. Hannah was a woman, barren, verbally and psychologically abused, but God accomplished something great through her. He did the same through David, Moses, Jonah, woman at the well, a blind man, even a man with a legion of demons. "God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong..." (1 Cor 1:27). Maybe He can do something with me.
